Super friendly staff and great food! Our server was very attentive and they do offer fresh guac. Great place to visit!

The food good, but service is less than poor. It was so loud in there we could barely carry on a conversation, and plus the waiters didn't seem to speak or understand much English communication all around was difficult to say the least. When our food was brought out it was only part of our order and one person never even received their food, and they didn't bring the rest until we were done eating. They also messed up one of our orders. We will not be back. Much better places to eat at in town.

Their food is always delicious and well-priced. The horchata was amazing, and every meat I've tried was perfectly seasoned. After dining in several times, we tried delivery with DoorDash. It went very well and the food was great as always. They even sent chips, salsa, and white sauce, which was a nice surprise!

So many great things to say about this place I can't seem to figure out where to start. The food is amazing! I always order the Taco Salad Mexicali's. My favorite thing is watching them all work. I've never seen anyone standing still. Always running around and helping out wherever needed. We have a main server but I don't have to wait for them to notice we need more chips or drinks, all the servers are watching and will take care of it if they see it. It's truly a team mentality no one is on their own. They treat every guest like family and it's nice to see. Keep up the good work!

Great spot for authentic Mexican and Spanish cuisine. The food was fresh and tasty my wife and kids loved it. The prices are reasonable and you have to try the large frozen margaritas. Amazing food and experience. I will be back again.

Delicious food fun atmosphere ,Great Servers

I think I finally found a place for great tacos. I've only had there tacos so I can only speak for that. I say they're the best in town. Decent price for good portions and phenomenal flavor. I highly recommend the chili verde taco. It's excellent. I haven't actually eaten at the restaurant. I've only called ahead and picked up food to go. If you're looking for good tacos, I fully recommend this restaurant.

Great food and service every time we go! The food is always top quality. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. It’s definitely more affordable than some of the other restaurants in the area, too. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place!

It's a really good atmosphere. Staff is extremely friendly. Just wish their Happy Hour drinks were a little cheaper. Their margaritas run $3 more than my regular place.

By far of all the Mexican restaurants in Williamsburg this one is the best. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and all smiles.

Placed a call in order and went to pick it up. Got my food home and it was completely wrong called back up to the restaurant and they told me to come back. They made everything over again and quickly. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time.

Always a good choice. Extremely reasonable prices. Nice sized menu. I almost always try something different.so far my favorite thing to eat here is everything I have tried. Really fast service,if there is an issue it gets fixed quickly. The staff are always great and really make you feel welcome.

To say the food was amazing would be an understatement. There is nothing like handmade guacamole made right in front of you at your table. The staff were super attentive and always walking through the dining area, I never had to ask for a refill.If you haven't eaten here, do it, now!

The food here was amazing. They made the guacamole fresh in front of us. The meat was so flavorful; I ate way past my limit because it was just so good. We even tried cactus for the first time cuz why the hell not. The staff was very friendly and took precautions due to the pandemic which I appreciate.

Super fast service and excellent food. We arrived at lunch with a crowd of 6 and we were seated fast and served even faster. Portions were very large and everything was hot and tasty. We will visit again next time we are in the area for vacation.

Not a great experience. We should maybe wait until the whole covid thing is over.We waited an hour for delivery which was ok but the driver said she was 'social distancing' and threw the food from the yard up onto the front porch. It was like a mass omelette by the time we opened it.

one of the best but only one thing bad is white sauce have too much sour cream in it.

Must say this is the best Mexican restaurant in the Williamsburg area! Awesome and friendly service everytime. We have been a couple times now and the level of service and food is always consistently great! This time around I had the Red bull margarita and my wife had the champagne margarita ( OMG the champagne margarita was amazing!!!) We ended up sharing the mocajete for 2, it was loaded with shrimp, steak, chicken, Mexican sausage and cactus in a spicy cheese sauce. The presentation was awesome and the food was to die for! All of that food for only $25.99!! we had more than enough to stuff our faces and still took enough home for lunch tomorrow for the both of us! For anyone looking for great, affordable Mexican food, awesome variety of margaritas and cocktails and top level service, look no further!! Taco Mexicali has got you covered!! We came with a very large group and they seated us immediately and were extremely attentive to our groups needs. Our drinks were always filled and food was fast and delicious. Excellent food. Excellent service.

Last year they would have gotten 4 stars, but this year they completely redid the place and it's more open and sparkling. Love their food and I'd roll around naked in the salsa... Why? It's a mystery. Huge margaritas, fresh chips, and beer steins you can't pick up with one hand. Also will accommodate that picky cousin, your sister's new diet, or that a** you married.

Best Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg in my opinion. My family and I love this place, food is delicious, portions are awesome, drink service is super fast and the wait staff is friendly.

Pros: Their food is very good!!!! They’re very fast!! Cons: However they have messed my order up multiple times. When my husband pick up the food (remake from their mistake)we ask for no vegetables but light green peppers and they filled it with vegetables after I ask for none but green peppers and put 9 pieces of meat to make it look like a lot ; they tried to basically make it seem as if we was trying to get free food.. That’s very unprofessional.... so I’ll definitely be taking my money else where.

The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful and very attentive during the meal. The place was immaculate and the decorations are very appealing. I had the Texas burrito which was wonderful! My wife had the fajitas and said they were in the top five of all time best fajitas. I also tried the flan which was very good. All in all I give this place 2 thumbs up and you should definitely try the food here.

Holy Guacamole!! This is THE best restaurant in Williamsburg right now. The staff is friendly and attentive. They all work together with a smile and operate like a machine. The food is HOT, fresh and portions are perfect. I don't really write reviews unless I'm "wowed". WOW! Taco Mexicali, keep up the good work!! On a Saturday night, we were seated, served, and checked out in 30min. (Fast eaters) While standing at the front door, there was a comment from another party of how good the food is. I acknowledged by saying, yes, the food is always good. The gentleman stated that he's done work in the kitchen and it was spotless! That means everything! 5 stars hands down! We'll be back.

Really wanted this place to be 5 stars. Truly! Nice staff. We LOVE good Mexican food. Missing Arizona and good Mexican places since our recent move. Honest review... Would have been so much better if the sour cream had been actual sour cream and not a terrible tasting Ranch style dressing and the Baja sauce for fish tacos hadn't been what tasted like a sweet Thousand Island. The refried beans were super salty! We couldn't eat them! The breaded and fried fish on my tacos was actually just grilled and not breaded at all. My husband's 2 chimichangas were super tiny (smaller than my small female fist).. Flavor was good he said though.Chips and salsa were good and service was fast at least. 😔
